Venezuela’s PDVSA bought a Nigerian crude cargo for Dec –traders


Venezuela’s state-run oil firm PDVSA awarded to London-based trading firm Helsinge Inc a tender to buy a 1 million-barrel cargo of Nigeria’s Qua Iboe light crude for December delivery, traders told Reuters. The company has been importing African and Russian crudes for refining this year through supply contracts and on the open market, which allows it to free its own production of light and medium grades for blending and exports. The Qua Iboe cargo will be delivered on Dec. 1-20 at PDVSA’s Bullenbay terminal in the Caribbean island of Curacao, according to the tender’s terms.
