The secretary-general of the OAS on
Monday visited Brazil’s foreign minister, with whom he agreed that for reasons
of regional stability, Venezuela needs a legitimate government that is
democratically elected. OAS Secretary-General Luis Almagro again decried, this
time in Brasilia, the state to which Venezuela has fallen, “a country affected
by an economic, social and political crisis the likes of which has possibly
never been seen,” he said. The only way out, Almagro said, was to “let the true
