Aloysio Nunes thinks that Venezuela turned out to be “a dictatorship.” He is
afraid that the founding members of the Common Market of the South (Mercosur)
are very worried about the country political and economic stalemate. “All of us
have agreed that long time ago the democratic normality in the oil country
overflowed its banks,” the foreign minister said during an interview released
on Saturday by daily newspaper Estado de Sao Paulo. The 71-year-old ex
guerrilla man vowed to resort to international organizations with regard to
Venezuela. However, he dismissed “for the time being” the enforcement of the
Democratic Charter by Mercosur against Venezuela. More…
