After bouncing up $6.50 in the first week of September,
Venezuela's weekly oil basket price slipped for a second week as oil prices
around the world continued falling on worries over a slowing China and a
plentifully supplied market. According to figures released by the Venezuela
Ministry of Energy and Petroleum, the average price of Venezuelan crude sold by
Petroleos de Venezuela S.A. (PDVSA) during the week ending September 18 was
$40.79, down 29 cents from the previous week's $41.08. More…
