Overcoming Hurdles in Venezuela by Joining Forces

The International Labor Organization (ILO) finally was able to send some of its top-level representatives to Venezuela so they could witness in situ how vulnerable trade unions and companies have been over the past fifteen years. After many years of restrictions imposed by the Revolution, whose governments have been touted as being defenders of the rights of workers and citizens, and in spite of the fact that the National Executive tried to thwart union representatives and business associations from participating in the ILO agenda, both sectors will be heard by the members of the Mission.
