Venezuela-Related Sanctions: U.S. And EU Developments And Compliance Challenges

This article provides an overview of recent developments in Venezuela-related sanctions in the United States ("U.S.") and the European Union ("EU"), where authorities have imposed new sanctions in response to ongoing political developments. Since 2014, Venezuela has faced an increasingly hardened sanctions regime imposed by western nations.
