Ortega said on Tuesday in Bogota that neither the rule of law nor democracy
exists in her country any longer. “I want you to know that in Venezuela there
exists neither rule of law nor democracy nor any freedom,” said Ortega, who was
dismissed from her position last Aug. 5 by the National Constituent Assembly
(ANC). “In Venezuela there is a breakdown in the constitutional order,” Ortega
added during a conference on human rights in Colombia, organized by the
Political Science, Government and International Relations Faculty of Rosario
