The first 400 of a total 20,000 bi-fuel
(CNG/gasoline) taxis has arrived in Venezuela from China. The order was placed
with Chery International (Chery) and are intended by Venezuela’s Executive to
renew the national public transport fleet via a Special Financing Program to
Transport Units through the Public Bank. “Taxis are Chery brand, Orinoco model, white
color, light identification, security camera, radio dual band, video cameras,
radio and dual gas fuel system,” explained People’s Minister for Land Transport
