Freeing of Venezuelan Opposition Leaders Would Ease Dialogue, OAS Chief Says


The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Jose Miguel Insulza, has said that the freeing of Venezuelan political opposition leaders would facilitate conditions for a dialogue to help that country overcome its crisis. Insulza made the comment in the Mexican capital during the presentation of his book “Estrategias y procesos de politica exterior en Estados Unidos 1981-1991” (“Strategies and Foreign Policy Processes of the United States 1981-1991”), adding that the current political and economic problems in Venezuela were difficult.
