Venezuelan human rights activist moves to Prague
Venezuelan human rights defender Tamara
Sujú, founder of the Ladies in White group, moved to the Czech Republic in late
November to help her country from abroad, because the political situation in
her homeland was getting worse and worse, she has told the Czech News Agency. Sujú,
a 48-year-old lawyer, is the founder of Venezuela's Ladies in White (Damas de
Blanco) group that brings together the wives, mothers and daughters of
Venezuelan political prisoners and spreads information about their cases. It
