Venezuela's LTA Aereotuy suspends int'l flights until February

LTA - Linea Turistica Aereotuy (L4, Caracas Simón Bolivar) has temporarily suspended international operations until February next year. In a statement, the Venezuelan leisure carrier said a lack of suitable equipment had forced it to suspend its Las Piedras to Aruba service until February 28, 2015.  At present, Aereotuy operates one ATR42-320 and a Dash 7 that is currently undergoing maintenance. It also serves Caracas Simón Bolivar, Canaima, Higuerote, Los Roques, Porlamar, and Puerto Ordaz/Ciudad Guayana. More…
