As of November 7, Venezuela's
international reserves hit USD 19.64 billion, the lowest level reported since
March 18, 2003, when reserves stood at USD 19.74 billion, according to figures
provided by the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV). In its most recent report,
think tank Síntesis Financiera highlighted that cash reserves ended at USD 1.3
billion in October, a USD 706 million-decline over a month. As of October 31,
total gross reserves ended at USD 20.5 billion, dropping USD 870 million
