We have all become suspects in Venezuela.
In previous years that category was limited to those confronting the
authoritarianism of the late Hugo Chávez and his people. Today the lack of
trust was "democratized" as it has spread to the own ranks of the
ruling party PSUV. The new order is to rat out the own fellow party members.
This guideline was given by Francisco Ameliach, the Governor of Carabobo state
for the PSUV, who made available a phone number and an email address for all
the snitch wannabes. Venezuela is definitely going from bad to worse with this.
We have always had serious doubts with regard to the democratic convictions of
a large part of those leading this process who call themselves revolutionaries.
The respect for diverging views, tolerance, a debate with arguments and not
