The Extermination of Intelligence in Venezuela

Now the fierce persecution is against private universities (including the best ones), where teaching staff are offered conditions consistent with their level of training and where, by the way, most of the talent from the autonomous ones have fled to seek a safe haven. Everything here is about applying the "Law of Fair Prices" that has proved to be useless even in the worst of food joints on these higher education institutions and their qualified teaching personnel. What is certain is that, as has happened in other countries, they have to prevent intelligence from taking refuge in private universities of some financial cost, despite their obvious and increasing social responsibility, but that's the place the Government has given them in all of its ravings and demagogic crimes against public education. It will achieve some of its goals for sure, in spite of these higher education institutions standing up against it with courage and reason. More…
