President Nicolas Maduro of Venezuela has
reportedly ordered the country's attorney general and public prosecutor to take
"actions" against Harvard Economics Professor Ricardo Hausmann who
said last week the country would do better to default and consolidate its debt
after racking up billions of dollars in import arrears. Maduro lashed out at
Hausmann calling him a "financial hitman" who was trying to
destabilize the Venezuelan economy. The president's wrath was let forth in a
televised addressed to the nation during which he said the "outlaw"
