OPPOSITION Member of Parliament for Barataria Dr Fuad Khan
is making an appeal for the Government to review its policy related to
Venezuelans seeking asylum in Trinidad and Tobago as their country continues to
collapse. In astatement, Khan said that Venezuela has reached a breaking point,
with lower oil prices, sanctions and economic mismanagement leading to the
world’s highest inflation rate and spiraling indexes of poverty and
