in Colombia illegally. The migrant crisis could get worse. According to
Colombia’s Migration director Christian Kruger, some 550,000 Venezuelans were
believed to be in Colombia at the end of 2017. This is 210,000 more than in
2016, the migration chief said in a report. The majority of Venezuelans in
Colombia are illegal, having escaped food shortages and extreme political
