Venezuelans go to the polls on Sunday,
Oct. 15, where the ruling Socialist United Party (PSUV) is expected to maintain
power, if not gain seats. How can that be? In a country reeling from three
years of recession (let's just call it Venezuela's Great Depression once and
for all, shall we?) and a power grab by old school Latin American Marxist
ideologues led by President Nicolas Maduro, one would think the opposition
would run the numbers. The market doesn't think it's going to happen. PSUV will
