In an apparent fraud of huge proportions,
the ruling United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) claims it won 17 of the
country’s 23 states in a nationwide gubernatorial election on Sunday, according
to the official results announced by the Regime Controlled National Electoral
Council (CNE). According to the Regime Controlled CNE, the candidates from the
opposition won in just five states, while Opinion polls and exit polls had the
Opposition winning with at least 60% of the vote nationwide. The result from
the last remaining region, Bolivar State, has not yet been made public and is
