Inflation in Venezuela increases 536.2% in third quarter
Consumer prices in Venezuela rose 536.2%
during the first nine months of 2017 pushed by the rise of the dollar in the
unofficial market, according to a calculation made by the opposition-controlled
Parliament. The legislative body, which began to publish inflation calculations
this year with its own data collection to fill the missing official figures,
reported that in September prices rose 36.3%, above the August rate of 34%. More…
