Venezuelan debts coming due amid crisis


Venezuela's government and national oil company are expected to make nearly $3 billion in debt payments on Wednesday, literally taking food from the mouths of an increasingly restive public. Venezuela's financial and political crisis will soon enter its third year. President Nicolas Maduro's socialist government has been hoarding every dollar it gets from selling oil to keep from defaulting on international loans and interest payments.
