America's failed state of Venezuela has decided to go after pastry chefs --
croissant makers and brownie makers -- as a much greater crisis looms:
Solvency. On Thursday night, the government of Socialist Party of Venezuela
(PSUV) started a crack down on bakeries, claiming they are consuming too much
wheat. Meanwhile, the bakers say the government is hoarding too much wheat,
making their products too expensive in a country facing triple digit inflation.
As the "bread war" begins, Venezuela faces a much bigger problem.
