After Barack Obama renewed the decree branding Venezuela a
"national security threat" the day prior, Venezuela answered the
outgoing U.S. president with a rally to "Defend the Homeland" on
Saturday in a march that attracted the socialist faithful.In total, over 115,000 soldiers and citizens participated in
the nationwide military exercise, called the Integral Anti-Imperialist Action
Zamora 200. Diosdado Cabello, leader of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela
or PSUV, was present at the Military Academy in Fuerte Tiuna, Caracas, where he
addressed the crowd of about 28,000 citizens and members of the Armed Forces.
On stage, he also issued a message to Obama. "You are leaving, and here
