Venezuela wants to convene new summit OPEC/NOPEC to discuss measures to stabilize oil prices for 5-10 years


Venezuela asks to convene a new summit of OPEC and non-cartel countries (NOPEC) for discussion of new measures aimed at stabilizing oil prices. So, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, who escaped impeachment only by a decision of the judicial bodies, invited Secretary-General of the Organization of Petroleum Exporter Countries Mohammed Barkindo to hold the next meeting of OPEC/NOPEC in the 1st quarter of 2017.
