Venezuela's weekly oil basket price slipped slightly for a
second week as oil prices churned directionlessly in international markets on
economic worries in Europe over a possible Greek default, seemingly ample
supplies in the USA, and currency gyrations. According to figures released by
the Venezuela Ministry of Energy and Petroleum, the average price of Venezuelan
crude sold by Petroleos de Venezuela S.A. (PDVSA) during the week ending June
19 was $56.48, down 10 cents from the previous week's $56.58. WTI in New York averaged $59.96 -- up 4 cents
-- for the week, while Brent crude traded in London averaged $63.93 -- down 41
