Demonstrations intensify in eight cities of Venezuela

Student demonstrations intensified on Thursday in eight main cities of Venezuela. The cities were militarized very early in the morning in the aftermath of the violent events taking place in Venezuela on Wednesday. Tear gas and rubber bullets were used against demonstrators in Barcelona, Anzoátegui state, northeast, leaving a number of people injured.
