Venezuela's international reserves down 28% in 2013

Information disclosed by the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV) shows that international reserves ended 2013 with a 28% decline versus 2012.

Based on statistics, at December 28, 2012 the assets held by the central bank stood at USD 29.8 billion. However, as of December 30, 2013, they totaled USD 21.4 billion. This represents a drop of USD 8.4 billion in 12 months.
