Venezuela faces bread shortage due to lack of flour

Venezuela is facing a serious food crisis due to a lack of wheat flour throughout the country.According to Peru21, the Spanish newspaper ABC has reported that the root of the bread shortage is a lack of wheat flour. ABCwrites that the Venezuelan government is the country’s largest single importer of flour, but due to a workers’ strike at Venezuelas Molinos Nacionales mill company, no flour has been produced since December. Molinos Nacionales produce 40% of the country’s flour. More...
