Venezuela-Colombia trade sheds 9% in 2013

Venezuela-Colombia trade last year was 9% weaker, as remarked by the president of the Venezuelan-Colombian Chamber of Integration (Cavecol), Luis Alberto Russián. He said that trade in 2013 ended approximately at USD 2.6 billion, compared with USD 2.9 billion the prior year. Russián told Unión Radio that exports of Cavecol members slid 12% to approximately USD 415 million, whereas imports from Colombia lowered by 9% to USD 2.4 billion.
